Would love a levelling up system something where there a rank and possibilities to unlock other things that would be useful in the game

MakkiduperzGreat game that the'yre making, but please I beg you not to lock things behind a tedious leveling system. I want to be able to enjoy the game and use things.
If there is anything getting locked behind leveling system, make it cosmetic, or only somethings that are less important like gadgets etc. -

Norryplease make the LEVEL system acount based and not the way it is now where i have to start at level 0 every time i start playing the game, because i started on a checkpoint where i last left of.
